Born and raised in North Carolina, I’ve long been inspired by the lush, green landscapes that shaped my adolescence. This deep-rooted connection to nature, combined with early artistic training, sparked a lifelong passion for creating.
For many years, figurative painting has been at the heart of my practice—an exploration of both natural forms and their emotional resonance. More recently, I’ve expanded into ceramics, drawn to the tactile immediacy of clay and its ability to complement the expressive qualities of paint.
After growing creatively for several seasons in Southern Appalachia, I’ve recently transplanted to Santa Fe, New Mexico. Here, the stark beauty of the desert has opened new avenues of inspiration.
Each piece I create reflects this evolving journey—an ongoing dialogue between form, texture, and light. I invite viewers to experience my work as a conversation between the natural world and the emotions it stirs.
